Over the course of a more than 25-year teaching career spanning grades 4 through 12, he has developed a passion for designing innovative experiential programming. In doing so, he has had the privilege of witnessing first-hand the power of 'learning through doing' in the next generation of young people.
After achieving a degree in Mechanical Engineering at Ryerson University, he is ready to give back to the community as a FIRST Mentor. Mr. Kashif has been competing in the FIRST Robotics program for the past 10 years and has a plethora of experience and knowledge to share with eager students.
Having participated in FIRST robotics since his freshman year of High School, he has evolved from FIRST alumni into a mentor. Along with studying engineering at UOIT, he is now working as a curriculum designer for youth interested in STEM learning, while following his passion of robotics and mentoring the Bayview Glen Robotics team.
