It was the best of times and the worst of times. The 2020 season began with great excitement and anticipation. We had just completed a very successful rookie season in 2019 and the team had learned a lot and were looking forward to applying their learning in 2020. We competed with our robot "Viper" at the Humber College District event and after qualifications we were Alliance Captain 8, and the robot design earned the Excellence in Engineering award. Things were looking promising as we fine tuned our robot in preparation for our next event at York University. 
Unfortunately, Just as we had perfected the shooter mechanism we received news that FIRST decided to cancel the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There is nothing more to say about this as all of us in the FIRST community experienced this unfortunate global event.
